We teach & train young people to incorporate 7 principles into their daily lives.
- Story. God so loved the world that He gave His Son, Jesus, so that whoever believes in Him will not die but have eternal life.
- Community. Jesus initiated His Church on Earth, and has invited us, His followers, to share in His inheritance & participate in the good works of His Kingdom on earth.
- Formation. As we walk in step with the Holy Spirit, He leads us through a life-long process of personal formation, taking hold of the fullness available in Christ. In Him, we become our true, full selves.
- Impact. As we walk and grow with Jesus, we come to recognize and participate in the good works & purposes of God in the world, bringing the grand realities of Jesus and the kingdom of heaven into our everyday lives.
- Glory. All that we are and all that we do will bring glory to someone. As we walk with God, we are called and destined to bring Him glory, rather than ourselves. In the end, this is true winning.
OUR PROBLEM
Human beings are painfully "mis-wired" by sin. At scale, this gives rise to a culture that misleads people to think life is all about protecting & promoting themselves. It's not.
Seeing life through sin's "mis-frame" is like walking through the fun house at a carnival, entertaining for a little while, but soon exhausting and distorted. Sin's mis-frame leads us into a mis-wiring of our identity and perceived destiny. It is the root problem under most of our visible problems.
The good news is that Jesus can. He is rewiring all things for full life.
Jesus preached and demonstrated the power of a different way of life on earth, in which all the abc's of life fit, flow, and grow together. It's called life in the Kingdom of Heaven, and He is the center of it, fueling our purpose for action, being, and community. This is the path of true significance, and it's the one we want to be on.
